Opening our 2009-2010 program year is NAEPC National Board Speaker, Robert (Bob) G. Alexander.
Bob is the President and majority shareholder in the law firm of Alexander and Klemmer, S.C., located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. He entered private practice in 1978, and concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning and advising family businesses. This includes federal estate and gift taxation, trust and estate administration, fiduciary income taxation , life insurance planning, retirement planning, charitable planning, business organization and succession planning.
Bob is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (B.A., English, 1971), the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School (J.D., 1976) and DePaul University (LL.M. taxation, 1984). He is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Wisconsin, the U.S. Federal Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Tax Court. He is a member of the American Bar Association sections on Real Property, Probate and Trust Law and Taxation, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils, the Milwaukee Estate Planning Council, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the National Committee on Planned Giving, the Planned Giving Council of Eastern Wisconsin, and the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Bob serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC), as well as, the Estate Planning Law Specialist Board, Inc. and has earned designations as a Board Certified Estate Planning Law Specialist (EPLA) as accredited by the American Bar Association and as an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) from the NAEPC. Currently,
Bob is listed in Who's Who in World and Business Leaders and Who's Who in American Law. Mr. Alexander lectures and teaches extensively for both public and private organizations including attorney continuinglegal education, the Wisconsin Institute of CPA's, major insurance companies, brokerage firms, banks, trust companies, charitable organizations and various local colleges.
